Welcome to the home of the Democratic Party in Ridgefield, Connecticut. We are dedicated to the highest ideals of the Democratic Party and to the notion that good government, community service, and political activity go hand in hand.

Our ideals are expressed in many ways — from locating candidates for office, to running local campaigns and elections to advocacy at the local, State and Federal levels. Members of the Ridgefield Democratic Party sit on community boards and organize grassroots activities on issues of major national and local significance. They are involved quietly on issues such as youth drug and alcohol abuse, or school curriculum improvement; they are involved prominently in causes such as the "Ridgefield Responds" effort to aid the victims of Hurricane Katrina.

Ridgefield's Democrats take action. We get things done.

Under the leadership of Democrat and First Selectman Rudy Marconi, the town has built new schools, acquired open space, gained corporate investments and improved the quality of life. Rudy serves on the Board of Selectmen in the majority with Selectwomen Barbara Manners, and Di Masters. Their service and that of other Democratic elected officials, make Ridgefield a better place day after day, year after year.
