Victorious Board of Finance member Dave Ulmer
will now be joined by Jessica Mancini and Paul Sutherland to take the
majority on the Board.
Ridgefield Democratic Headquarters was
the scene of celebration as the results of the municipal election were
announced. The team of Democrats, lead by First Selectman Rudy Marconi
and Selectwomen Barbara Manners and Di Masters, were congratulated on
their success by well wishers from every part of the town.
Rudy Marconi, re-elected to his 6th term after completing
a challenging 10 days leading the town's emergency response to Snowstorm
Alfred, took a moment from his duties to address the crowd of
well-wishers. I am honored to be re-elected to another 4 year term,
which allows me to serve the people of Ridgefield. We have lots of work
to do in the areas of education, the Library and Schlumberger. These
issues will affect our future for many years to come. I look forward to
leading the town into the future.
