Ridgefield's Number One Issue

An issue that transcends individual Town boards, commissions, and committees is the current state of, and future outlook for Ridgefield's educational system. Democratic candidates across the board are expressing the view that this is our town's Number One Issue, and are proposing concrete, practical solutions.

There are some who would have us believe that the current overcrowding crisis in our schools is but a transient phenomenon, brought about by some series of events unique to Ridgefield's recent past, and unlikely to be repeated. To show the folly of that view we offer an informed perspective on "The Next Baby Boom" from American Demographics.
