How Wealthy Are Ridgefielders?

Ct. Towns Income Mar. 27 -- According to data just released by the Connecticut Policy and Economic Council (CPEC), Ridgefield's per capita income is the ninth highest in the state. According to the study, Ridgefield's per capita income in 1998, the last year for which data was available, was $70,316. This is 186% of, or nearly double, the statewide average. With Connecticut having the highest per capita income of any US state, Ridgefield's Top Ten rank in the state suggests that we are, on average, very well off by national standards.

CPEC is a respected Ct. organization which tracks numerous indices of our state's economic, education, and financial status.
