Congressman Jim Maloney Opens Web-site as Campaign Steps Off

Jim Maloney for CongressCongressman Jim Maloney, Democrat, CT 5th District, went interactive this week with his campaign Web site, www.maloney2000.com. The race for the Fifth Congressional seat is officially on this month as the key summer campaign weeks begin with the stepping off of Memorial Day Parades across the State. Maloney, who comes home to the district each weekend, is participating in no fewer than 4 parades, a Mass of remembrance for those who gave their lives for their country, numerous picnics and community events.

The Maloney Web site features unique features of interest to the district including an "Interactive Map" showing by town what Jim has done for specific towns, position papers on key issues facing the District and opportunities to volunteer and contribute. Like many "cyber politics" sites, www.maloney2000.com, is packed with candidate information and photos. As an incumbent, the information is substantive, with impact on the whole district. Visitors can also keep up with Jim's votes in Congress, his schedule, new endorsements and developments by clicking on the "weekly update".

After viewing the www.maloney2000.com, we urge visitors to visit often to stay informed and on top of this important campaign.
