Ridgefield High School alum and former Young Democrats president Dan Dimendberg is working in a key legislative race in Pennsylvania this campaign season. Dan, a sophomore at Cornell, is serving as #2 staffer in the campaign of Pa. State Rep. Jim Wansacz (photo: State Rep. Jim Wansacz [left], key camapign staffer and Ridgefield HS alum Dan Dimendberg [right]), who is in a close race to retain his seat representing the Scranton area in the state house of representatives. Wansacz, at 28 years old, is one of the youngest members of the Commonwealth of PA legislature.
Dan, getting a moment's relaxation in a busy campaign schedule, wants his friends in Ridgefield to know he's working in a very exciting campaign. "At times I wish I were back in Connecticut, helping Rep. Jim Maloney's reelection campaign," says Dan. "But as a key part of Jim Wansacz's campaign to retain a Democratic seat in the battleground state of Pennsylvania, I realize this is a great learning opportunity and chance to contribute to the Democratic cause." Dan invites his Ridgefield friends to e-mail him with news of home town goings-on.
