Oct. 30 -- The Ridgefield Board of Finance tonight approved First Selectman Rudy Marconi's school bundling proposal by a 4-1 vote. Tonight's key vote puts the school expansion project one step closer to reality, but First Selectman Marconi , who has made the bundling approach a centerpiece of his first term, cautioned, "There's still a long way to go" to complete the steps necessary to add the much needed classroom capacity to the school system.
