Oct. 14 -- CT Secretary of the State Susan Bysiewicz appeared in Ridgefield today, urging townspeople to support First Selectman Rudy Marconi and his running mates in the upcoming municipal election. At a reception for Marconi, held at the home of Bob and Gerri Lewis, Secretary Bysiewicz congratulated Marconi on his outstanding record over the last two years, and reminded the 60-some attendees that "Rudy can't do it alone." She urged support for endorsed Democratic Board of Selectmen candidates Barbara Manners and Steve Zemo, Board of Finance candidates Mike Jones and Joanne Murray, and the entire ticket.

Since Bysiewicz has made Connecticut a leader in using the Internet, the Blue Book has been on-line for the last several years. In fact, she noted, the printed bound hard-copy editions such as the one she presented Rudy are becoming a bit of a rarity these days.
