Oct. 27 -- The annual Halloween Walk brought thousands of kids and their parents to Main St. today, under perfect autumn weather. Rudy Marconi and his running mates showed up to pass out candy and balloons to the kids, and to talk with their parents about the important issues facing the town. [Above, left:] Board of Finance candidate Joanne Murray and Police Commission candidate Michael Collins at the Democrats' table on Main St. Joanne is costumed as a Viking woman, and she looks warm enough for the day's chilly but sunny weather. Michael, who had been called to active duty to help with security at the World Trade Center disaster site, is glad to be able to spend this weekend in Ridgefield.
