Ridgefield Democrats Open Campaign Headquarters

Oct. 4 -- Ridgefield Democrats opened their Campaign 2003 Headquarters today. The Grand Opening, attended by more than 100 Democrats and supoporters, featured most of the 2003 Democratic candidates, party officials, and lots of hard-working volunteers. There were hamburgers and hot dogs, cooked on the grill by master chef Rich Kalriess (ably assisted by wife Sandy). They were accompanied by lots of snacks and goodies, a minimum of speechifying, and the musical wizardry of Dave Goldenberg. Dave performed his now-familiar "Rudy Campaign Song," and debuted a new song dedicated to a certain national political leader, "You and the Court You Rode In On."

Democratic Headquarters is located just off Main St., down the pedestrian walkway next to William Raveis Real Estate, in the former location of Bedient's garden center.
