Oct. 4 -- Ridgefield's Democratic Selectmen hosted a breakfast for seniors at the Ancient Mariner restaurant this morning. First Selectman Rudy Marconi, with Selectmen Steve Zemo and Barbara Manners, who are running for reelection as a team, met with several dozen Ridgefield seniors to enjoy a great breakfast, and talk about the issues important to Ridgefield. Hot topics included Rudy's Lyme disease initiative, the campaign to get Danbury Hosptial accredited for angioplasty, the recent property revaluation, and the senior tax credit. From the conversations, it was apparent that the seniors were convinced that the Marconi administration has Ridgefield on the right track, and they are strongly supporting the Marconi-Manners-Zemo team this Fall.
