Oct. 4 -- Board of Finance candidate Dave Ulmer was honored today at a reception hosted by Tom Elliot and Susan Baker. Ulmer, a financial executive at JetBlue Airlines, is seeking a position on the finance board based on his professional background and skills. First Selectman Rudy Marconi, speaking in support of Ulmer and his runing mate, Rob Miller, said, "We have two first-rate financial professionals running for the Board of Finance. It is time to put some financial pros on this important board. Ridgefield is a big business in 2003 - we need financiers who understand fiscal management to help our town."
