Oct. 25 -- Democratic candidates took advantage of beautiful Fall weather to get out today to meet the voters during the annual Halloween Walk on Main St. First Selectman Rudy Marconi and his running mates Steve Zemo and Barbara Manners passed out tons of candy and good wishes to Ridgefield youngsters and their voting parents in front of Town Hall (photo). Across the street, other Democratic candidates and volunteers passed out balloons and still more candy.

[Right] Snickers By Rudy was a favorite today. Many parents urged their youngsters to "Go up and meet the First Selectman," and the kids did, in record numbers. The kids were thrilled to be meeting Rudy- oh, yes, the candy helped too.
