The Ridgefield Press
First Selectman Rudy Marconi has earned a third term with his tireless work on behalf of Ridgefielders of all descriptions, his broad vision, willingness to tackle tough problems, and patient consensus-building.
Mr. Marconi has also added hundreds of acres to the town’s open space holdings - not just with the Bennett’s Pond eminent domain acquisition, but with the public/private partnership that secured for the town significant portions of the former McKeon Farm.
The News-Times
Marconi brought people together and solved the (school) problem. In good or bad times, Ridgefield needs leadership like that. Rudy Marconi has earned re-election.

ROSA
ROSA supports the re-election of First Selectman Rudy Marconi. Since he took office four years ago, nearly 600 acres of open space have been preserved in our town - more than had been saved during the previous 10 or more years. …These factors make him the better choice for First Selectman.
