Oct. 2 -- It wouldn't be Fall without the Autumn Fest Barbecue and Picnic sponsored by the Democrats of Ridgefield for Ridgefielders—young and old, held today. This year's festivities drew nearly a hundred party faithful, friends, family and supporters of the 1999 ticket.

Ed Pearson [photo, left, on the left] did his usual superb job of organizing the event, tending to the fundraising, and then serving as grill chef. DTC member Alice Carboni [right] graciously offered her lovely patio and pool area for the event, and did yeoman service working with Ed to insure everything came off flawlessly.
